Gratitude Jar: A Simple Practice

I hope you all had a good bank holiday. In my neighbourhood, families were enjoying Easter celebrations in the sunshine. It was really lovely

I said I would share the contents of the gratitude jar. I decided to make a short film of me reading its contents. What I don’t say is that I am aware I am in a safe place with stable personal resources, someone who isn’t might find this process galling. I think it’s an important practice for me to be grateful for my life rather than feel guilty and overwhelmed which generally causes inaction.

I hope the next 5 minutes allows you a moment of gratitude. It certainly made me smile and feel connected to you

After the reading, I released the energy and prayers of gratitude with the help of fire and smoke. Perhaps someone will catch them on today’s south-west wind …
