self care & nourishment

I have recorded a 30 minute yoga practice based on the Morning Dailies practice. There’s a bit of balancing in there. Please use support if you are not used to balances. This can be a chair, blocks or having a hand touching the wall. Would be great to let me know know how you get on: Contact
I am not asking for payment but I am requesting donations via my Just Giving page for NHS Together. I request you to make your donation before accessing the practice. This can be a one-off donation or each time you access the practice. The practice will be available for four weeks and I will let you know how much we raise – thank you:
The NHS is currently facing the most challenging period in its history. Donations to NHS Charities Together enable the health service to go above and beyond. Through its 241 member charities across the UK, funds will improve services for patients and support NHS staff to continue their vital work.
Here is a powerful piece on frontline stories, parts are challenging to listen to but it is also informative and grounded: YOUTUBE: Frontline Stories
If this is your first yoga practice, be gentle with yourself. Many people find coordinating new movements with the breath is a bit of head game. The movements may look simple but they require a focused, breath led approach. If you feel light headed or dizzy, you may be over-breathing or even holding your breath. If that’s the case, get to know the movements and then bring your focus to your breath. Please use the suggested supports and variations where necessary. Let me know how it goes.
Once you get used to the practice, you might like to turn off the sound and we can practice quietly in a shared space. Here is the practice in stickman form:
Please let me know if you have any issues accessing the practice or the Just Giving Page – Thanks Again
