Bits and Bobs
A reminder of what’s coming up for August:
I am teaching all Morning Dailies next week but otherwise my diary is closed to allow me to prepare for August and have some downtime. The last 3 weeks have been full with online teaching and face to face therapies. It’s been so good to be able to do both. I haven’t stepped away from work since February and will enjoy a slight pause next week then have a week off in September. The Morning Dailies continue until 4 September. We can decide whether to retain the current shape or make some alterations. We might be clearer then as to how the current restrictions/general confusion has affected the life of the virus.
August Yoga Online
Two Wednesday classes return on 12 August for four weeks (ending 2 September) at 1800 and 1930, maximum of 8 people. I have returned to a slightly reduced term payment of £35.00. I hope this allows you to commit to the four weeks. If you know you cannot make four weeks then you can book a minimum of two classes at £10 per class – please let me know dates and arrange payment before the block begins.
In September we will start a 6 week term on Wednesday 16 September. The two evening classes will continue online and I am hoping to organise a face to face class in Long Ashton on Wednesday morning at 1000 or 1030
Reiki Shares Online – change of day
From August these move to twice a month and change from Wednesday morning to Friday afternoon at 1400. From September these will be on the first and third Friday every month:
- 14 & 28 August
- 4 & 18 September
I have mooted the idea of a face to face share but the lack of feedback suggests you are not ready for that. I am unsure myself. We will stay with reiki shares online and see how the situation plays out. I am set up to work face to face so if you would like an appointment please book in
The evening meditation moves to twice monthly on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 2000:
- 10 & 24 August
- 14 & 28 September (tbc following group discussion, see below))
In August we are moving away from the breath led visualisation and I will be guiding a healing journey meditation. We can discuss September nearer the time. Here are some ideas to ponder:
- If you want to, continue online on a Monday evening (visualisations, guided journeys)
- Have a face to face daytime meditation on Wednesdays
- Start an online meditation at 8.00 am (using the breath as our focus)
- Extend a Morning Daily to include more time for meditation
Face to Face Therapies
These are available through the week except Wednesday which is reserved for class yoga teaching. Once you have booked your appointment, I will send paperwork and directions to my therapy workspace in Long Ashton. There is a screening process for all appointments. Individual yoga lessons are now based in my workroom which means they are no longer weather dependent.
Although I am not available for therapies next week, I will be monitoring emails in the morning but the computer will be off from 10 am. The online booking system is available if you know what you would like to book.
