Season of Inspiration

The word spring always makes me think of inspiration, feelings of excitement and moments of head rush. It is also the act of breathing in, inhaling something of the Universe into ourselves.

Were you able to take time to acknowledge the Spring Equinox, a time of balance and awakening, as well as fertility and manifestation?

There is a palpable rush of energy leading up to the Equinox, accentuated by the dramatic increase in daylight plus a clock change. Sometimes it takes a while to settle and gather our resources which can scatter when the days open up.

I hope you enjoy reading about what’s available to bring space and support into your self-care practices

Yoga

I am enjoying the online yoga classes. I know they are not everyone’s choice but they have allowed more flexibility and there is a steady core group. We are getting to know each other and I am appreciating the insights, the questions and the gentle humour of our community. After Easter, there is a six week term:

  • 1000-1100, Mondays, 13 April – 18 May (this class has more space for meditation); includes the May Bank Holiday
  • 1800-1915 Thursdays 16 April – 21 May
  • Cost: £60 (weekly recordings available to the start of the following term)
  • If you cannot come to your usual class, you are welcome to join the other one – let me know if you want to do this
  • Online Yoga Classes

Therapies

Appointments are available Monday to Friday. I have reviewed my prices and from Easter and there is a £5 increase. This is not a decision taken lightly – thank you to clients who gave me a nudge.

  • One hour @ £60.00
  • 75 minutes @ £70.00
  • 90 minutes @ £80.00

Massage & Bodywork: I work through clothes which allows me to move your body freely within your range of movement and work with depth and precision. Thai bodywork techniques really benefit from this approach. Due to a minor wrist injury, all massage is couch based for the time-being: Massage & Bodywork

Reflexology focuses on the feet to release the tension in the body and regulate your nervous system. This was my first therapy when I started in 1999 and the results still blow me away. There’s the option to combine reflexology with reiki-based massage, in a 75 minute appointment. The two together are a sublime experience: About Reflexology

And Reiki, a therapy that needs to be experienced, talking just doesn’t do it justice. For me, it’s deep relaxation received through the practitioner’s hands, guiding you into a meditative state. When you are in that deep space, magic happens in the form of connection, release and healing: Reiki

Retreats

I am leading two residential retreats this year. The May weekend is full and the November weekend is reserved. If you are interested in a residential retreat, do let me know, spaces may come up: Retreats

I am not organising local and day retreats but will let you know if this changes. If we haven’t seen each other for while, let me know how you’re getting on. Even better, book an appointment to support your health and wellbeing.

I look forward to speaking with you soon, Yvonne x
