Morning Yoga Reading

Yoga has taught me much. Yoga has taught me that each morning I wake up to my own mind, not to the world the way it actually is. How can I understand others at all, then, except by who or what I think they are, or who or what I think they should be? I think we should give up the notion that we can ever completely understand the mystery of another, or that we need to. We should simply give them space, space to just be, and drop the idea that they are people who need fixing by me. When they speak, we should just listen, and feel no need to respond. When we speak, we should speak from the heart.
