Today is the last day of the current yoga term. We return on November 11 for a 6 week term:
- 0930-1100 and 1930-2100 @ £55
- 1800-1915 @ £50
We have been working with ideas around svadhisthana and the exhale. Next term will bring a focus to muladhara, the root cakra, and the BK (bahya kumbhaka – empty pot), the space after the exhale.
I have read some of John O’Donohue’s work to you this term. The two pieces are In Praise of Water and For Presence.
In this morning’s class, Ann recommended a free onine event about mindfulness: http://themindfulnesssummit.com/. This came, following a group discussion on differing values amongst people and the vulnerability we can feel when faced with a person whom we perceive to be working from a place of greed and other less desirable qualities.
I look forward to seeing you on Remembrance Day. For the morning class, I will extend the end time past 11 am so we can observe a 2 minute silence.
